Apologies University and Hogeschool Utrecht for excluding CJB from introduction period

Last year, on false pretences, the Dutch Communist Youth Movement (CJB) was excluded from the introduction period for students in Utrecht. Meanwhile, the Utrecht Introduction Time (UIT), Utrecht University (UU) and Utrecht University of Applied Sciences (HU) have evaluated the decision and apologized to CJB. Greek Communist Youth (KNE) again largest in student elections

On 10 May, Greece held elections at universities across the country for student councils. In these elections, the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) managed to win a significant victory. KNE’s list, ‘Panspoudastiki KS’ (All Student Cooperation Movement), became the largest for the second year in a row, with 35.15% of the votes. ‘Panspoudastiki KS’ thereby strengthened its position compared to last year, with more votes in both absolute numbers and percentage.

Statement NCPN/CJB on the terrible situation for refugees in Ter Apel

The NCPN and CJB condemn the terrible condition that 700 refugees for the application center in Ter Apel are currently facing. The Dutch government has turned Ter Apel into a new “Moria”. This situation is the result of the policy of the imperialist EU and the Dutch government: on the one hand with the imperialist interventions and wars that create the refugee flows, on the other hand with the inhumane refugee and immigration policy. This policy doesn’t focus on the protection of human rights, but primarily on which refugees and migrants are economically useful for capital.
